| About the project In collaboration with the software designers Roland Blach and Philip Rahlenbeck, Kurt Laurenz Theinert developed a visual piano, i.e. a keyboard that produces graphics instead of sounds. The drawings are not pre-recorded clips but engendered on the spot – like any sound in a live concert. These drawings are projected in a 360° panorama in a darkened space. As part of a musical composition or improvisation, space gets filled with sounds, colors and lines and undergoes a modification of its outline and appearance to a point where the “real” dimension of the space gets lost. He is invited to adapt the setting of “Hammerhaus” for GLOW. For the performance he will work with musician Axel Hanfreich. Every days performance times at 6.30 pm / 7.00 pm / 7.30 pm / 8.00 pm / 8.30 pm / 9.00 pm / 9.30 pm / 10.00 pm |
