Mischa Kuball’s installations are emblematic statements on historical, political, social or artistic implications and connotations of the urban environments they belong to. His main material and media is artificial lighting in architectural contexts. In the installations - the temporary ones as much as the permanent ones - he generates semantic relevance by re-orchestrating the lighting situation and (de-)composing lighting patterns.
