Interview Marc Vogel (Un Poco Loco)

"We want to teach the public respect for the elements"

Design "We get our inspiration from constantly taking a good look around us – out the the window, to the sea, in the nature, in the flames. Fire is important in our shows. In "Elements of Light", we connect the artificial light – the stage lighting and projections with dance, movement and theater - with the natural light, the fire. We consider ourselves as performance artists. Especially for this performance, we have worked closely with lighting designer Andres Müller who has joined us in making a stylish choreography full of movement, action and light".

Forces "The market seems a great place for dragging a large number of people into the world of the elements. But with GLOW taking place in November we will probably have to deal in particular with the elements of water (rain) and air (storm) ourselves! In our show we disclose the forces of nature. As performers we need the public space to display our skills. We live by and for the reaction of the audience. Being Public is our normal routine."

Balance "We hope that the public will be overwhelmed by our performance, but we also want to encourage people to think about the origin of our existence, the meaning of the forces of nature and the balance of things."
