Incorporating built environments in animation performances is the strength of “Apparati Effimeri”. They are among the first ones to leave the screen and work with mapping technologies on urban environments. By mapping out the surfaces of architectural settings and re-projecting composed data onto selected buildings they show the possibilities of latest digital technologies in artistic use.
During GLOW the projection performance of Apparti Effimeri manipulates lights and shadows, colors and patterns including optical illusions on the facade of the NRE Building.
