I am a passionate lighting designer, which prefers to integrate daylight and artificial light into the architecture. Working with light and lighting is a wonderful profession and has always many interesting and new perspectives. Where architects and designers think in three dimensions, length, width and height and put light fourth at the row, in my eyes light is really the main building block, the first dimension. Without light it is dark, there aren’t even three dimensions because you can see nothing at all!" Shadow "A good lighting plan displays the soul of a space and suits the activities of users. For the public area, a pleasant lit environment contributes to a feeling of well-being. Without expertise in lighting design and architecture, even the most beautifully designed room or space is not fully used. Light is important, but we should not forget color and shades. Certainly shadow is an extremely important element in light design and is forgotten by many”.
