On Thursday, 12 November from 16:00 to 18:30, BALTAN Laboratories hosts
the sixth in its series of BALTAN GOES NATLAB presentations at the former
Philips NatLab at Strijp-S in Eindhoven. This session is dedicated to
new experiments in architecture, specifically focused on the use of light
and technology.
Speakers include Jerome Decock from Brussels-based LAb[au], who will present
some of their recent projects, including the interactive kinetic light
sculpture framework f5×5x5; and Marc Maurer (Maurer United Architects
[MUA]), who will discuss the Indemann, a 36-metre-high watchtower near
Aachen, Germany, with a programmable facade consisting of 40.000 LED lights,
designed by MUA.
