Traveling to Eindhoven

Here you will find tips on how to get to GLOW, parking facilities and traffic diversions.
 
By train
Eindhoven has two stations, Eindhoven Central Station and Station Strijp-S. Both intercity trains and sprinters stop here. You can plan your trip using the journey planner on ns.nl.

By bus
GLOW is easily accessible by Bravo buses, for example via the Eindhoven Central Station stop. You check your trip via the travel planner.
 
By bike

By car
If you do come by car keep in mind that a number of roads in the center will be closed for traffic every day from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Parking Philips Stadion
Park within walking distance of the light artworks of Strijp-S, in the parking of the Philips Stadion parking! Easy entry and exit through license plate recognition.

Parking Fellenoord
Affordable and covered parking within walking distance of the center.

Parking Stadskantoor
Park in the center at the Stadhuisplein for only € 6,- per day! Enter with a pin code and park indoors.

Parking TD Gebouw
Affordable parking within walking distance of GLOW light artworks for only € 7,-. Lots of space and easy access.

Parking Bedrijfsschoolgebouw
Parking within walking distance of Strijp-S and Loetje for only € 9,- per day!

Transferium
P+R Genneper Parken
Free parking at the P+R Genneper Parken and for € 0,50 p.p. by bus to the center, or take a shared bike/scooter!

Other information

During GLOW, a number of parking locations are temporarily not or barely accessible. Outside the center there are also a number of locations where you can park. Below is an overview of the parking locations that are accessible during the event:

For local residents
A number of roads in the center will be closed for traffic every day from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. If you as a resident live directly in the event area, you will receive a letter from GLOW in the mail with information about the best way to reach your house. Questions? Mail to [email protected]

Redirects
The A2 between Nederweert and Budel and at Valkenswaard (towards Eindhoven) will be closed from Friday, November 5, 9 p.m. to Monday, November 8, 5 a.m. Traffic from Sittard/Maastricht will be diverted via the A73 towards Venlo, and from there via the A67 towards Eindhoven. Traffic from Weert will be diverted via N275/N266 (along the canal) and then via the A67 to Eindhoven.
 
The A2 between Weert-Noord and Grathem (towards Maastricht) will be closed from Friday, November 5, 9:00 PM to Saturday, November 6, 11:59 PM. Traffic in the direction of Weert/Maastricht will be diverted over the A67 to Venlo, and from there over the A73 in a southerly direction. Traffic in the direction of Weert is then sent to Weert at Roermond on the N280, traffic in the direction of Maastricht continues to follow the A73, which changes into the A2 to Maastricht at junction 'Het Vonderen'.
 
During the first evening of GLOW, this means that visitors from Limburg must take into account a longer travel time on both visiting an leaving Eindhoven. On Sunday 7 November there will only be disruption on the way out of Eindhoven.
